3.15 Table Relationships

Exult maintains the XML structure between parent and child elements by creating the appropriate parent and child tables and using foreign key constraints on the child table to link it to the parent table. This relationships between the parent and child tables resembles a tree structure. This structural relationship can be viewed in Microsoft Access after exporting the XML to Access. A sample tree structure between parent and child tables created by Exult is shown below.
