Swift XML Converter allows you to import XML data and export it to a variety of formats including Excel, Access, CSV, etc. XML can be imported from a single file or data can be merged from multiple XML files at once. You can then select the data you want to export to Excel. This article takes you through a walk through illustrating the procedure.

If the XML file is large, the processing could take some time. You can stop the processing at any time by clicking on "Abort." If there are any errors importing the XML file, an entry is added in the "Error Encountered" list. You can double-click on the entry to get details of the error.
Once the processing is complete click "Finish" to preview the imported data.
In the Excel Output Wizard, select the type of Excel output: Enhanced or Standard. The Enhanced output type exports with visual styles but may cause problems with data truncation. If that happens, select the "Standard" output type which uses ODBC to export the data to Excel.
You can also specify the location where the output is to be saved by clicking on "Browse". Once that is done, click "Next" to begin saving the Excel spreadsheet. If the output size is large, the saving could take some time. Once that is completed, click Finish to view the output in Excel.
