2.1 Convert XML to Microsoft Excel (XLS)

This walk-through demonstrates how easy it is to convert XML to Excel (XLS files). Exult works by shredding the XML to database tables and extracting each table to a separate worksheet. XML relationships are built by using primary and foreign key constraints in the database. You could select one or more tables for extracting to XLS format while previewing the data. Or, if you choose, you can combine data from two or more tables by creating a view and extracting the combined data. This is particularly useful when the data is split into different tables due to database normalization rules.
